Raf Simons, Redux
Grotto is an atlas and a working space. It is a place of escape and discovery where I organise my visual thinking through approximations and constellations rather than linear narratives. The images, fragments and references do not explain, but rather dialogue with each other, creating glimpses of meaning that arise from the encounter and tension between them.
Like a cave, Grotto is an intermediate space, between shadow and revelation. More than an archive, it is a territory in constant transformation, where meaning arises from the relationships between images and where the act of seeing merges with that of thinking.
